Forest 'Frøken'

It really is such a lovely time to get outdoors for some family photographs before the winter sets in.  With Autumn upon us, all the colours are coming out now.  I can't wait until all the reds and yellows are here!
The weather has been very unpredictable but the nice days we have are just wonderful! 1 year olds are also a little unpredictable and I never know how long they are going to last.  It's alot of chasing after them to get the good shots.  This adorable little girl lasted 30mins, but those 30 mins were quite good wouldn't you agree?
Enjoy!

Strawberry Blonde Sweetheart

I had a wonderful photoshoot the other day with little Ingrid Malene.  She was such a good girl.  That little bench I have seems to draw kids to it and she went straight over and sat on it without a doubt! She has just turned one and has the prettiest strawberry blonde hair and wrinkles up her nose when she smiles.  Just adorable! The little green dress she is wearing was her mums. It's so nice to see that :-) The light blue dress with ruffled neck was her big sisters and she was tired by the end of the shoot and snuggled up on the floor in it.  Such a sweetie.

Sleep baby Sleep

From experience the average newborn I photograph is asleep, awake, asleep, awake, asleep, with lots of cuddles and milk from mum in between to get baby back to sleep.  This can take up to 3 hours and well a couple of times we have had to break the shoot into two days! This 5 week old baby was quite the opposite to all the babies I have had and slept for the entire shoot.  She slept through clothes changes, being moved to different positions and we did it all within an hour. And she kept smiling in her sleep! :-) I could have just kept going but I had so many nice ones already I didn't want to push her limits.

I finally got to use a sweet Kakle cover that Gry had made me back in the spring.  Very pretty and nice with a splash of colour for the summer. Oh how cute it would be to photograph 6 newborn babies in these covers together! I will totally do it if someone can find me 6 newborn babies! ;-) Barselgruppa?

Enjoy!

Mr Smiley

I am still catching up on blogposts.  Just a couple to go, unless I have forgotten someone else!

I met this lovely family a little before "fellesferie" summer holidays.  The weather was beautiful and another day with alot of sun.  I had such a good, happy smiley baby to photograph.  He was just adorable! Those little new teeth smiles are so cute.  His parents were just as smiley.  Makes for a very easy and sweet family portrait :-) And how about that cool fire engine? Fancy!

Enjoy!

Sibling Sweetness

This is the 3rd time I photographed baby Amalie in under a year and the 1st time I have got to photograph her adorable big brother and sister.  Yvonne is a model in the making.  She is breathtakingly beautiful.  Really! That red hair and dark brown eyes are to die for.  And she loves the camera.  I am working on a little project to do with her soon.  I can't wait! Nikolai is not such a willing model, but he's a gorgeous boy with the sweetest personality that loves his big and little sis.
I kind of did what I wanted in this photoshoot and I think it worked.  It was a very sunny day which made conditions a little different, but I am not going to start complaining about sunshine with the lack of summer we have had this year.  The sunny days we have had have been divine!
Enjoy!

Home for the "Summer"

Jorid and family were visiting their homeland Norway for the summer holidays all the way from Singapore, where they are living for 2 years.  A family of 5 can be a bit of a challenge with 3 children under 6.  This family conquered all my fears! It was almost too easy! A very goodlooking family anyway, AND then they all looked at me when I told them too.  Incredible :-) I love these photos in the fields. We do live in a beautiful country.

Enjoy!

In The Backyard

Living in another country isn't always the easiest of things.  I have made alot of new friends here, mostly international people, some Norwegians, but there aren't too many Aussies that are here.  So it was very nice to hear about the new Aussie in town.  Although Arlina had been living in Norway for the same amount of time as me, she was living in another town. It's very relaxing hearing someone with a similar accent, and someone that understands everything I say! It was also very nice to meet her two kiddies that are half Aussie, half Norwegian like ours.  They are such blondies too! Oskar is a full of energy 3.5 year old and little Frida has turned 1 recently.  She has the most amazing light blue eyes with a dark ring around the iris.

These ages are always a challenge and I was running around after them everywhere trying to just capture them as they are.  I got some fun ones with Frida attacking her big brother and some cute facial expressions :-)

Enjoy!
