Perlen Erle

Erle was another sweet little baby girl that came to visit last week.  I feel so lucky to photograph these lovely small babies.  If I could just photograph babies all week I would be one happy photographer.  Erle was 5 weeks old last week and I was lucky that she also liked sleeping still :-)

Enjoy!

Baby Elena

I am back in business! My arm is working well enough to take photos again after a hair line fracture from cleaning up after our holiday in Australia! I was very lucky it wasn't worse and that I didn't need plaster.

Baby Elena came to me last week at 8 weeks old.  She was a lovely little girl that loved cuddles but not really sleep (as expected for 8 weeks), but we did manage to get her to sleep only for it to last while her mum was holding her and then again when we finally got her to lie down, one photo...CLICK! and she was awake again.  Quite funny to see but I promised her mum she would sleep all afternoon and she did:-)

My husband and I had had our combined 40th birthdays the weekend before and had a whole bunch of tulips left over.  I thought they could work well in the photos. Lots of pink here! ;-)

Takk Tove at du ventet på meg.  For ei nydelig jente dere ha.

Enjoy!

2012

2012 was an amazing year of many new faces and new experiences.  I also feel so lucky to have loyal customers that are coming back to me every year or every 6 months!!

I had a wonderful experience of photographing two women over their whole pregnancies and I hope I can do some more of that this year.  I really love photographing babies so much.  It's such a wonderful experience every time.

I also love getting outside and photographing people in nature.  That is really what fluidphotography is all about! I now have a temporary little natural light studio that I have made which I am very happy with.  This is for babies and pregnant women mostly which I want to be more of my focus while I don't have the space inside.  Hopefully this year or 2014 at the latest I will have a proper natural light studio built in our house.  Very excited about that!

I will be persuing my own project that I have had stuck in my head for a very long time! It seems to be manifesting into something bigger and bigger and I can't wait to show the final product.  More than anything I want to be able to have an exhibition with my dance images and the ones I did in Australia were more than I had imagined so it's all very exciting! Watch this space ;-)

Anyway here is a look back at some of my favourite and most memorable photoshoots of 2012.  I would also like to say a huge thankyou to Cecilia for being my assistant/intern last year.  You were a great help and you are missed every Friday.  I am very open to a new intern from August if anyone is interested.

Bring on 2013!!

Enjoy!

Australian Whirlwind Tour

We are back from an exciting, packed full adventure in Australia with stop-overs both ways in Bangkok! December was a wonderful month where I celebrated my big 4...0 birthday.  Caught up with people that I hadn't seen for 20 years.  Met my two new nephews, one which arrived after a few days of being in Australia which was super lucky! Spent lots of time swimming but more time travelling in the countryside and breathing in that incredible smelling eucalyptus air I miss so much.  We had high temperatures of 40 and lows of only 18 on Christmas Day which was a nice change to the 45 degrees last time we had xmas in Oz! We met water dragons, platypus, kangaroos and wallabys, rainbow lorrakeets, rozellas, cockatoos out in nature and a whole bunch more at the zoo!

The kids are the best travellers I have known and actually coped with being hauled around to 13  different beds more than we did! We always say it's been a little too much, but really I am so very thankful for all we saw this time and all the people we caught up with including seeing my Gran again! I am sorry to those we didn't catch up with but there is only so much a family can do. Next time or come visit us up in the Norwegian wood ;-)

Here is a very small but sweet look into our life on holiday back in my old home.

Enjoy!
