Wild & Free - Konfirmant

Some photoshoots I get the feeling I need to meet the person before working out where we are going to take the photos.  After meeting Kenneth, I knew that it wasn't going to be a forest or waterfall confirmation photo session and that we needed to do something a little more wild and edgy.  He already started posing before I even took my camera out so I knew it was going to be fun.
I don't think I have ever taken photos of someone with so much energy.  He was like a Duracell bunny that never ran out of batteries! He scared me a couple of times and I may have actually screamed when he did some somersaults from a high cement wall.  Was not expecting a kid doing parkour moves!  I should have taken some water to drink! ;-)
We also went to some train tracks that weren't in use that evening.  The boy could even flip in a suit! That was new!  And in boxing gloves! Yes it was very fun and I giggled most of the time if I wasn't worried about him hitting his head.
I do have a great time with these kids wanting to include their hobbies in their confirmation photos.  Send more my way! :-)
Enjoy!

Evening Light - Confirmation Photoshoot

It's been a while since I had a teenage boy to photograph for his confirmation. This was a wonderful photoshoot.  It had been raining all afternoon and it stopped a little while before we started.  The light was perfect.  A little cloud cover with the sun still shining through.  It really was fantastic light! And on top of that a really fun 14 year old that made it fun doing fun poses that made him look like a pro.  A gave very little instruction.  My favourite kind of shoot.
Enjoy!

One Year Old Eva

I took photos of Eva's mum when she was pregnant, during Eva's birth and newborn photos of her. A year has flown by again and I am left wondering when the world is going to slow down just a little.  I know that it most likely will get faster and faster as I now feel like it was just Christmas a second ago and we are already in June! Summer is here again and I want to enjoy every minute of it.  Hopefully there will less rainy days like today, and more days like the day I took these photos of Eva and her big brother Charlie.
We will be home for most of the summer, painting our 86 year old house and I will be available for photoshoots for most of that time.
Enjoy!
